Turn off the screen saver or automatic screen shutoff

The ADTH NextGen TV Box includes the screen saver and energy-saving controls provided by its Android operating system. These are separate from the ADTH inactivity reminder.

Turn off the visual screen saver

1. Open Settings on the ADTH box.
2. Select Device Preferences.
3. Select Screen saver.
4. Select Screen saver again.
5. Select Turn screen off.

This stops the box from displaying a visual screen saver. The screen will instead turn off after the period shown under When to start.

Prevent the display from turning off automatically

1. Return to Settings > Device Preferences.
2. Select Energy saver.
3. Select Turn off display.
4. Select Never and confirm the change if prompted.

Leaving the display on continuously may increase energy use. If your box does not show the Never option, contact ADTH Support and include the software version shown under Settings > About and a photo of the options shown under Energy saver.
