Modified on Wed, 22 Oct at 12:19 PM

Overview

The Datacasting Web UI allows you to check your device’s status, view received files, and confirm that Datacasting is working correctly. This guide explains how to open the interface, what to expect on each tab, and how to verify that Datacasting content is being received.

Step 1: Open the Local ADTH Webpage

  1. Make sure your Datacasting device and your computer or phone are connected to the same local network.

  2. In a web browser, enter one of the following addresses:

    http://adth.local

or the IP address shown under Settings → Network on your device.

  3. The main ADTH webpage will open. You should see the Tolka header with tabs labeled General, Downloads, and Log.

Step 2: Identify Your Device

At the top of the page, you’ll see:

  • ReceiverId – the unique ID of your device (for example, DGIA3L13317XXXX).

  • Software Version – the installed firmware version.

  • Portal Link – a placeholder button or text link that will later connect to your Datacasting content portal (for example, an Education Portal or Public Service Portal).

When the portal is active, the Portal Link will display its actual name (for instance, “Education Portal”) and become clickable.

Step 3: View Downloads

  1. Click the Downloads tab.

  2. You’ll see a list of files received through Datacasting, each with a Filename and Path

  3. Files appearing under folders indicate that Datacasting updates or app content have been received successfully.

Step 4: Monitor Logs (Optional)

Click the Log tab to see background activity.
This is useful for confirming that your device is downloading new Datacasting content or updating automatically.

Step 5: Confirm Datacasting Is Active

Datacasting is operating correctly if:

  • A Portal Link appears in the top menu (replacing the placeholder).

  • Files are visible in the Downloads tab.

  • The web UI updates automatically as new data arrives.

Troubleshooting

If you do not see a Portal Link or any files listed:

  1. Confirm that your device’s software version starts with ANTB1D.

  2. Reboot your device and wait 1–2 minutes.

  3. If the issue persists, contact support and provide:

    • Your Receiver ID

    • Your Software Version

    • A screenshot of the webpage

Expected Results

  • You can access the web UI at http://adth.local.

  • The ReceiverId and Portal Link appear in the header.

  • The Downloads tab lists received Datacasting files.

  • The device continues to download and display new content when broadcasts are available.
