If you find that your Bluetooth remote control has lost pairing, please follow these steps to reconnect your remote control:
1. Navigate to System Settings > Remotes & Accessories.
2. Unpair all paired Bluetooth remote controls.
3. Select 'Add Accessory.'
4. The screen will display 'Searching for accessories.'
5. At this point, simultaneously press and hold the 'Back' and 'Home' buttons on the remote for 5 seconds, then release (do not point at the box during this step).
6. The red light on the remote will flash rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode (no longer need to keep any buttons pressed now).
7. Point the remote towards the box and hold it close to the box while it is detected.
8. Wait for the pairing to be successful.
Bluetooth pairing is optional from software version 1.0.101 onwards, so the remote also works over infrared without being paired. Pair it only if you want the features that need Bluetooth.
For the current step-by-step version of this procedure, please see Remote Repair / Re-Pairing Guide.
