How to use the on-screen number pad for Direct Control Access

The on-screen number pad was added in software version 1.0.85. Software updates can change which colored remote button opens it, so use the shortcut label shown on your screen rather than a fixed color.

Open the channel selector

1. While watching live TV, press the Down button or the Live TV button to show the Info Bar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Find the colored shortcut labelled Channel selector, then press the remote button with the matching color.
3. If the channel list appears instead of the number pad, follow the colored on-screen shortcut to switch between the list and keypad views.

Enter a channel number

1. Use the arrow and OK buttons on the remote to enter the channel number on the on-screen keypad.
2. Press the Back button to close the channel selector when you are finished.

If that did not work

• Do not press the separate red TV power button. That button controls TV power and is not a number-pad shortcut.
• If your color buttons do something different, trust the labels on the Info Bar. Their functions can change with the software version and the screen you are viewing.
• If no Channel selector shortcut is shown, check for a software update under Settings > About. If the box is current and the shortcut is still absent, contact support with your software version.
