The ADTH NextGen TV Box has a 3.5mm connector and can be connected to older TVs using an AV cable without needing an HDMI cable.
Notes:
1. HDMI and AV ports cannot be used at the same time, please disconnect the HDMI cable before using the AV cable.
IMPORTANT: If you plug in HDMI and AV cables at the same time, the AV will only have sound. Even after you unplug the HDMI cable, there will still only be sound.
Please unplug the power, reboot, and connect only the AV cable, then the AV will be able to display the picture.
2. Please update to the latest system version to ensure the correct default analog settings are used.
Below is the specification of the AV cables that are appropriate for use with the ADTH NextGen TV Box.
Because each AV cable is designed to a different standard and is assigned a different color, if you find that your AV cable needs a picture or audio source, we suggest that you try the following steps.
Plug the three different color RCA jacks into the video port on your TV (usually the yellow one) in turn, and make sure which one is the right color for the connection,n, and the picture will appear.
If you find the right RCA jack shown in the picture, you can plug the remaining two jacks into the other two audio ports on the TV.
